The Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) is holding a 3-day (June 11-13, 2024) ‘National Award Ceremony’ starting today (Monday) at the Islamabad Hotel, 10 a.m. Federal Minister for Information & Broadcasting, AttaullahTarar will be the chief guest in the opening ceremony in which awards will be presented to the recipients of the highest literary recognition of Pakistan, Kamal-e-Fun Award. The guest of honour at the launching ceremony will be Zahra Nigah, the acclaimed Urdu poetess of Pakistan.
Chairperson of the PAL, NajeebaArif will present the Welcome Address in the first session while Federal Secretary National Heritage and Culture Division will present the vote of thanks.
