LAHORE – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday announced the formation of a new selection committee.
In a statement released by the board, it was confirmed that the committee would be comprising former ICC elite umpire Aleem Dar, Aqib Javed, Asad Shafiq, Azhar Ali, and Hassan Cheema.
Previously, Mohammad Yousuf, Asad Shafiq, and the captain and head coach were part of the selection committee, but they have not been formally appointed as members this time.
Furthermore, consultations would take place with the captain and head coaches regarding team selection.
Earlier, former captain Mohammad Yousuf announced his resignation from the selection committee.
