LAHORE – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has once again invited applications for key coaching positions in the national cricket team, signaling a continued overhaul of the team’s backroom staff.
In an advertisement posted on its official website, the PCB is seeking qualified professionals for the roles of batting coach, bowling coach, fielding coach, and strength & conditioning coach. Interested candidates have been asked to submit their applications by 5:00 PM on June 6, 2025.
Eligibility criteria for each role are as follows:
Batting Coach: Must hold a minimum Level 2 coaching certification and possess at least five years of coaching experience.
Bowling Coach: Also requires a Level 2 certification and a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
Fielding Coach: Applicants must have a Level 2 certification and five years of experience in a similar role.
Strength & Conditioning Coach: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Sciences or Physical Education, along with at least ten years of experience in the field.
The latest recruitment drive follows the PCB’s recent appointment of former New Zealand coach Mike Hesson as the head coach of the national team. With Hesson at the helm, the board is now focused on building a strong support team to complement his leadership.
The PCB has expressed hope that experienced former cricketers and qualified professionals will come forward to strengthen the coaching setup as the team prepares for upcoming international assignments.
