LAHORE – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday rejected allegations regarding non-payment of dues about Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The international cricketing body, FICA, accused several leagues including the PSL and the Indian Premier League of irregularities regarding the non-payments.
FICA’s report alleged irregularities in payments in cricket leagues over the past 24 months, including the PSL and IPL.
Following FICA’s report, the Pakistan Cricket Board dismissed the allegations after contacting the players’ association.
ICC Director International PCB Osman Wahla said that FICA’s report contains inaccuracies regarding the PSL and that FICA had informed of reservations about its written report. He said that in the past two years, there had been no issues of delayed payments in all nine editions.
