Pasban Democratic Party (PDP) has demanded that merciless hacking of trees in Faqirabad area of Naro in district Khairpur be stopped immediately.
They said some agents of some alleged Arab hunters are hacking Khabbar and Kandi trees, comprising privacy of villagers.
They said that privacy of villagers in Khairpur should not be compromised for sake of some hunters who are backed by powerful quarters.
PDP leaders Arshid Arain and Muhammad Ali Mahar said that in Naro areas of Sindh some people have obtained about 100 acres of land to build private plane landing facilities allegedly for some Arab elite.
They said that agents of these elite are hacking Khabbar and Kandi trees around nearby villages, compromising the privacy of villagers.
They said local administration and some people summoned from other parts of the country are threatening local villagers.
