People belong to Azam Warsak area of Birmal Tehsil of Lower South Waziristan on Monday staged a protest demonstration against the prolonged electricity load shedding in the area. Large number of people participated in the protest demonstration.
They viewed, “we are given electricity only for 2 hours out of 24 hours, 18 MW electricity is generated from Gomalzam Dam, yet we are not given our right, which is completely unjust the protestors said that electricity from Gomalzam Dam is the first right of the people of Waziristan.
It should be remembered that earlier electricity was available for four hours and now only 2 hours of electricity is given to the people of Lower Waziristan in 24 hours.
