ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited Embassy of Islamic Republic of Iran in Islamabad to express Pakistan’s deep condolences and solidarity with the Iranian people following the recent Israeli aggression against Tehran.
PM Sharif paid tribute to courage and resilience of the Iranian nation, offering prayers for the martyrs and wishing a swift recovery for those injured. He signed the condolence book opened at the embassy to honor the victims of the attacks.
He was accompanied by Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, and Foreign Secretary, Prime Minister Sharif was warmly received by Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghaddam and senior Iranian officials.
In his remarks, the Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for Iran during this challenging time. He also conveyed his respects and best wishes to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and newly elected President Dr. Massoud Pezeshkian.
The visit underscored Pakistan’s commitment to regional solidarity and its continued support for the sovereignty and dignity of the Iranian people.
