Islamabad Police has finalized the security plan related to the general elections slated to be held on February 8.
A high-level meeting was held under on Wednesday the chair of Islamabad IG Police Akbar Nasir Khan regarding the security of the city during the election.
The meeting was attended by all police officers of federal capital, SSP operations, AIG operations and DPOs.
According to the spokesperson for Islamabad Police, the security plan related to the election has been finalized, but the practical measures are delayed due to the non-release of funds.
