LAHORE – The Punjab government has retrieved 300 kanals of state land worth Rs499.3 million from land grabbers/encroachers.
The operation was carried out on the directions of the Ombudsman of Punjab. Regional Offices of the Ombudsman, Punjab, received public complaints regarding encroached state land.
According to the Ombudsman’s office, the general public has lauded the retrieval of state land after demolition of illegal constructions. Citizens have thanked the Ombudsman Punjab for taking decisive action against land grabbers and ensuring the protection of public property.
