LAHORE – Punjab will present its budget for the fiscal year 2025-26 on Monday, June 16.
The PA session will begin on Thursday, June 12. The government had earlier planned to present the budget on Friday, June 13.
But it has been delayed till next week to give the final touches to the budget. By delaying the budget for a few days, the Punjab government can also look into the budgetary allocations of other provinces.
Punjab Finance Minister Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman told reporters that the budget will be presented in the Punjab Assembly on Monday, June 16, in the afternoon.
