Khuda Bux Brohi Thatta
A large number of the rain affected and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) staged sit-in and protested at different places against non provision of relief items like tents, mosquito nets, food and water, here on Tuesday.
The ISPs were led by different party workers including allied to Sindh action committee and fishermen it had. Adam Gandro chairman FMI was leading the IDPs protest who had been evacuated from Katcha area of Indus river and are living at the dykes of river.
The protesters including men, women children staged sit in on the road connecting Thatta and Sujawal districts and bypass and caused huge vehicular traffic suspension for several hours.
Meanwhile rain affectees living in makeshift camps at Makli staged sit in front DC Thatta office and demanded food, mosquito nets etc. The affected were asking that their houses have been inundated of rainy water, so they have been shifted at different makeshift camps of Makli.
