Rain and snowfall over hills is expected in Islamabad, Northeast Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan on Tuesday. According to National Weather Forecasting Center Islamabad, during past 24 hour, rain occurred at isolated places Punjab, Upper Sindh, North Balochistan, Ormara , Lasbella Kalam and D I Khan.
Rainfall (mm) were recorded at Balochistan: Lasbella 06, Zhob, Kalat 04, Barkhan, Ormara 03, Dalbandin, Khuzdar 02, Punjab: Jhang 06, Lahore ( City 05, A/P 03), Sargodha, Kot addu 03 Bhakkar, Okara, T T Singh, Faisalabad, Hafizabad 01,Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Kalam 04, D I Khan 02, Sindh: Jacobabad 04, Mohanjadaro, Padidan, Dadu 02 and Larkana 01. Today’s lowest minimum temperatures (°C) were recorded at Skardu -17°C, Bagrote -13 °C, Parachinar, Gupis, Kalam -11°C, Astore -10°C, Hunza -06°C, Malam Jabba -05°C, and Gilgit -04°C. According to synoptic situation, a westerly wave is affecting different parts of the country and likely to persist in upper parts till Wednesday.—APP
