Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid has said that in line with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan and on directives of Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, historical steps are being taken to provide best health facilities to masses.
She stated this while speaking during her visit to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Layyah on Wednesday to monitor the vaccination centre there. The Minister was also accompanied by Secretary Health South Punjab Ajmal Bhatti.
Dr Yasmin Rashid talked to patients and took their feedback. CEO Health Layyah and MS DHQ Hospital Layyah presented details of arrangements at the hospital.
The Health Minister said, “On directions of CM Usman Buzdar, the arrangements at DHQ Layyah are being reviewed.
Good quality arrangements have been at DHQ Layyah. We are trying our best to vaccinate more and more people.
As per vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, we are trying our best to provide top quality facilities to people.”
She said that in South Punjab, Secretary Health South was personally supervising arrangements.
Provision of good quality healthcare services in South Punjab was our foremost priority. The PTI government was fulfilling all promises with the government, she added.
Dr Yasmin said: “Prime Minister Imran Khan is taking historical steps to improve development in South Punjab. In the entire province, 8 Mother and Child Hospitals are being built.
Secretary Health South Punjab is working tirelessly to provide good quality health services in South Punjab.”
