In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President, Mehbooba Mufti has said that the road to peace in South Asia passes through Kashmir.
Mehbooba Mufti addressing a gathering of party workers in Kulgam said that any renewed thaw in the relationships of India and Pakistan was subservient to the progress made towards addressing the long-pending political and democratic demands of the people of Kashmir.
On the occasion, senior party leader, Dr Mehboob Beg lauded the steadfastness and resolve of party president Mehbooba Mufti for her constant advocacy of resolution of Kashmir issue despite the full frontal assault on the party and its leadership.—KMS
