A robber was killed and shopkeeper injured in fire exchange during robbery attempt in a shop, police said on Tuesday.
According to details, two veiled robbers barged into a shop in Islampura area of Lahore and attempted robbery.
An exchange of fire took place in which one robber was killed while other managed to escape. Shopkeeper Umar Jamal was also injured in firing of the robbers.
The body of killed robber and injured shopkeeper were shifted to hospital. DIG Operation, SSP TauqeerNaeem and Additional SP City Selman Zafar also reached the scene of crime. The r The forensic team also collected the evidences. Police registered a case into the incident and started operations for the fled robber. —APP
