A robber was killed and his two accomplices managed to escape after exchange of fire with police here on Wednesday.
According to details, three armed robbers were engaged in looting in Chung area of the Raiwind Circle when police getting the information reached the scene.
Upon sight of police, the robbers started firing and tried to flee from the scene.
In retaliatory firing of police, an unidentified robber was killed while his two accomplices managed to escape.
A pistol was recovered from possession of the killed robber and his body was shifted to mortuary of local hospital.
