Spokesperson of the Sindh government and Adviser for Law Barrister Murtaza Wahab has said that the role of lawyers in providing justice in the society is the foremost, which brings forward the positive face of the society in any democratic government.
He expressed these views while meeting a delegation of lawyers in his office today. Adviser Law assured the delegation of the lawyers’ community that the PPP government is playing its role in the welfare of the lawyers’ community and the conduct of professional affairs, including the problems of the lawyers’ community and their solutions. It is taking steps on modern lines. The delegation of the lawyers’ community included President High Court Bar Salim Mungrio, General Secretary Amir Waraich, President of People’s Lawyers Forum Qazi Bashir Ahmed, Shafiq Butt. Secretary Law Ali Ahmed Baloch was also present in this meeting.
The delegation of lawyers appreciated the efforts of legal advisor Barrister Murtaza Wahab and said that the problems of the lawyers community including health insurance, issue of arms license for security measures and allotment of land allocated for plots are being handled better and effectively and they acknowledges the services of law in being resolved in modern style.
