SOPs in trains, railway stations to be implemented strictly

Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said that the case of Shahbaz Sharif is serious and he would have to go jail, adding that this family will also be not spared in sugar scandal. He was addressing a press conference at Railway Headquarters in Lahore on Saturday. The minister said that Shahbaz Sharif was present in his house and was hiding in a room situated backside of the house.
He said that it is the decision of Imran Khan that all advisors and special assistants will declare their assets. He said that the government will follow the Supreme Court of Pakistan decision regarding the employees of the Pakistan Steel Mills. Sheikh Rahsid said he could not talk more about the politics as he is not seeing any role of opposition, adding that all responsible people in sugar scandal will go jails. He said that Imran Khan is committed to bring all the involved people in sugar scandal under the law and constitution.
He said that the decision regarding forensic of flour crisis will be made in next cabinet meeting, adding that flour and sugar are on the top priorities of Imran Khan. He said that the petrol issue has been discussed in the ECC meeting and OGRA has been asked to overcome the petrol shortage issue. He said that basically petrol price was decreased and now the petrol price is going to be increased at once, adding that stockist mafia while stocking it is waiting for the increase of the petrol price. He said that the oil price is going to increase from $28 per barrel to $43 per barrel at the international market.
He said that in Pakistan, opposition parties has no role in the politics, besides playing ‘media, media’ adding that even a picture of a person is also being made politics. He said that opposition has no courage to come out against the government of Imran Khan. He said that Shehbaz Sharif is habitual of playing on both sides of the wicket and he wants to play role of reconciliation but Imran Khan has not interest in any reconciliatory character. Sheikh Rashid said he is supporter of the theory that if anyone has gone abroad then we should get rid of him and PTI should govern the country conveniently for five years.In response to a question, he said India will receive a befitting response in case of resorting to any aggression against Pakistan. Sheikh Rashid announced the opening of all booking offices.
APP adds: He said that earlier, it was decided to restore 10 more trains but after observing the COVID-19 situation in the country, the decision was postponed for a month.
