KARACHI – The government of Sindh is offering subsidised solar panels to low-income people to reduce electricity costs, besides promoting renewable energy. This program aims to enhance energy access and support households by reducing their reliance on conventional power sources.

In the first phase, 2lac families will get solar panels through Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) across the region. As per fresh updates, 50,000 systems are set to arrive in Karachi this October.
