Secretary of the Information Department, Nadeemur Rehman Memon, highlighted the department’s proactive efforts in revamping and modernizing operations during the 23rd progress review meeting.
He emphasized the department’s role in image-building for the Sindh Government and promptly addressing public demands and grievances by leveraging modern monitoring techniques across print, electronic, and social media platforms.
Additionally, the department is revising advertisement policies, finalizing publication policies, and updating media laws related to film, press, and publications. Memon also mentioned the timely promotion of staff and proactive disclosure of information under the Sindh Transparency and Right to Information Act, 2016.
