On this World Day of Social Justice, we must reaffirm our commitment to building a fairer world where economic progress aligns with social inclusion and decent work.
Social justice is not just an aspiration—it is the foundation of strong societies, achievable only through collective action.
That is why the ILO launched the Global Coalition for Social Justice, uniting more than 330 partners—governments, employers and workers’ organizations, civil society and academia—to reduce inequalities and promote decent work, fair wages, social protection and responsible business practices.
In Pakistan and across Asia and the Pacific, the ILO is working with its constituents and partners to drive inclusive economic growth, labour protections, gender equality and social dialogue—all essential for sustainable progress.
As we approach the Second World Social Summit, set to be held in November this year, we must accelerate efforts to keep social justice at the heart of global policymaking. Through the Global Coalition, we call for economic development that benefits all, especially the most marginalized.
Let’s stand together to break barriers, expand opportunities and create a world where everyone thrives in dignity.
Together, we can build a more just, equal, and inclusive world.
