Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad, Rana Saleem Ahmad Khan has said that foolproof security arrangements will be ensured to protect mourner processions and majalis during holy month of Muharram-ul-Haram in the district while local Ulema, members peace committee, representatives of traders, media and civil society and prominent people should play their everlasting traditional and pivotal role to promote brotherhood, tolerance and interfaith harmony among people.
He was addressing the meeting of District Peace Committee and Interfaith Harmony Committee, on Saturday at district complex Hafizabad.
DPO Muhammad Masoom, ADCG, Hamid Nasir, AC Hafizabad, Murad Hussain, AC Pindi Bhattian, Wasiq Abbas, officers of different departments, Ulema and members of committees attended the meeting.
DC said that the people of the country were peace living and patriot citizens but some foreigner anti-Pakistan.
