Fourth Chairman POF Board, National Ranking Tennis Tournament is being played at POF Tennis Complex.
On the fifth day of the tournament, Semi-finals and finals played for different categories. In Girls under 18 category, Soha Ali beat Lalala Rukh Sajid with 6-1, 6-1 and won the title. In the Ladies singles category Final Sara Mehboob beat SheezaSajid with 6-4, 6-3 to win the title. In Boys under 18, Hamza Roman defeated Hamid Israr with 6-3, 6-2. In Boys under 14 category, Hassan Usmani beat Shayan Afridi with 6-1, 6-2.
In Seniors 45 above category, Talha Waheed & Israr Gul defeated M Amin & Rashid Ali with 6-2, 6-2 to won title. Abdullah Adnan won, Men’s double category final over Mudasir Murtazawith 6-3, 4-6, 10-4. In Men’s Single Category top seed Aqeel Khan defeated M Abid with 7-5, 6-3, qualified for Semi-final. M Shoaib beat Yousaf Khalil with 6-2, 6-3 to qualify for the final. Category Final will be played on 9th March 2024.
The tournament is being organized under the auspices of POF Sports Control Board and Pakistan Tennis Federation. Tournament’s closing ceremony will be held on 9th March 2024.—PR
