Three friends, riding a bike, were crushed to death by a speeding dumper truck here in the remit of Bhaati Gate Police on Sunday.
The police said that the deceased identified as: Umar, Zahid and Ali were going on a motorbike when a speeding dumper ramped into the bike, killing all the three on the spot. The accident occurred in front of Gora Qabristan on Ravi Road near Bhaati
Chowk where a rashly-driven dumper hit the motorcycle.
The driver of the dumper managed to escape from the scene after the accident. The two of the friends belonged to the same family while the other one was their servant. Rescue 1122 personnel and Police reached the spot and shifted the dead bodies to
the morgue. No whereabouts of the dumper driver were reported till the filing of this report.
