A court in Lahore on Saturday accepted the post-arrest bail application filed by a suspect in Rs24 billion money laundering case registered against Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Moonis Elahi, who is also son of Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.
Accepting the bail application of Mazhar Iqbal, Judge Aslam Gondal of the banking court directed him to submit surety bond of Rs0.5 million.
The investigation officer of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), on the occasion, presented in the court a report on the case.
