The 12th Tent Pegging Championship kicked off in the federal capital at F9 Fatima Jinnah Park.
In the contest, this year 300 teams and 1200 riders are participating in the championship. Chief Commissioner and Chairman CDA Chaudhry Muhammad Ali Randhawa was the chief guest of the inaugural function held the other day.
The chief organizer of the championship was former Deputy Mayor MCI Islamabad Syed Zeeshan Naqvi.
In the opening ceremony, Chief Organizer Syed Zeeshan Naqvi dressed the Chief Commissioner and Chairman CDA Chaudhry Muhammad Ali Randhawa with a traditional turban, presented a bouquet of flowers and a shield.
