A case was registered against three police officials for allegedly murdering a citizen in custody in Kot Lakhpat Police Station.
Reportedly, three cops, including an ASI from Nishter Colony Police had tortured a citizen to death after his abduction. The suspected cops identified as ASI Riaz, Ghulam Mustafa and Mubarak Ali had abducted a citizen Javed Iqbal.
They tortured him and when his condition deteriorated, they dumped his body into Lahore General Hospital.
The victim had died. Police have registered a case against the cops on complaint of son of Javed Iqbal.
The body of the victim was moved to morgue.
