ISLAMABAD – The top six selling cars in Pakistan during first eleven months of the current fiscal year 2024-25 have been revealed, highlighting a significant shift in country’s automotive market, with several popular models recording notable growth.
Suzuki Alto
Leading the charts once again, the Suzuki Alto maintained its dominance with a 17.24 percent increase in sales. A total of 36,969 units were sold from July 2024 to May 2025, up from 31,531 units during the same period last year.
Toyota Corolla and Yaris
Meanwhile, combined sales of Toyota Corolla and Yaris models saw a robust 59.19pc rise, reaching 22,310 units, compared to 14,014 units sold in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
Honda Civic and City
Honda Civic and City models also experienced growth, with 14,904 units sold between July and May, up from 10,519 units, reflecting a steady demand among consumers.
Suzuki Swift
The Suzuki Swift recorded one of the highest percentage increases, with sales climbing 58.90%. The model’s total units sold jumped from 4,628 to 7,354, indicating a growing interest in compact hatchbacks.
Overall, the sale of cars during the first eleven months of outgoing fiscal year 2024-25 increased by 32.10 percent compared to the same months of last year, according to Pakistan Automobile Manufacturing Association (PAMA) said.
As many as 94,388 cars were sold during the months under review as opposed to 71,451 units in the same months of last year.
