Two minor children, aged 8 and 10 years, allegedly tortured an eight-year-old child to death here in Kahna area of the City on Tuesday.
The police said that two children – eight-year-old Ali Shar and 10-year-old Zaid forcibly took an eight-year-old Mubeen to nearby fields after having arguments with him over a pity issue where they killed him with bricks. Both the children, later, buried Mubeen’s body in the field and returned home.
In the meanwhile, Mubeen father sought police’s help when his did not return for a long time. He told the police that Mubeen had went to a nearby mosque to offer namaz but did not return home
. The police registered a case and launched investigation into the incident. The police took the two children into custody over suspicion, who during initial interrogation confessed to their crime.
Meanwhile, two youth identified as Muhammad Qaiser and Shah Nawaz alias Saeen Papri were shot dead while asleep near local nullah at Ghaniyan Road in Phalia City on Tuesday.
The Phalia City Police team rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to THQ hospital for post-mortem.
The police said that investigation has been launched to ascertain motive behind the incident.
