LAHORE – Pakistani citizens can apply for a a five-year multiple-entry visit visa of the United Arab Emirates to explore the Gulf country as a tourist.
According to the official Government of Dubai website, foreign nationals can obtain a multiple-entry tourist visa valid for five years, starting from the date it is issued.
This visa allows for repeated visits and does not require a local sponsor or host, though applicable fees and a financial guarantee must be paid.
To apply for the visa, the following requirements must be met:
A passport with a minimum validity of six months
A travel ticket confirming onward travel or departure from the country
Proof of valid health insurance coverage within the UAE
Bank statements showing a balance of at least $4,000 (or equivalent in other currencies) maintained over the six months prior to applying
The visa allows a stay of up to 90 consecutive days, which may be extended once for another 90 days, provided the total stay does not exceed 180 days within a 12-month period.

The applicants can use the digital channels (website/smart application) to apply for the visa online. Following are steps.
1. Log in to the smart services system through (UAE Pass or username).
2. Search for the service to be applied for.
3. Fill in the application data, where applicable.
4. Pay the service fee (if any).
