LAHORE – The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore convened a joint meeting of its Boards of Studies in Allied Health Sciences and Pharmacy on Monday to finalize the admission schedule 2025 for its undergraduate programs, including BS, Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), and Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D).
The meeting was chaired by UHS Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Ahsan Waheed Rathore and attended by principals and academic heads of affiliated institutions.
As per the approved schedule, admissions for the Fall Semester 2025 will commence in the first week of July. Applications will be accepted until the last week of July.
The Undergraduate Admission Test will be held in the first week of August, with the first merit list scheduled for release in the third week of August. Classes for the Fall Semester will begin on September 30, 2025.
For the Spring Semester 2026, admissions will open in the last week of December. The admission test will be conducted in the first week of February, and the merit list will be published in the third week of the same month. Classes are set to commence from March 30, 2026.
The meeting also underscored the importance of quality clinical training. It was decided that affiliated Allied Health institutions must establish their own teaching hospitals with at least 200 beds. The Vice Chancellor emphasized discouraging Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with external hospitals, asserting that in-house facilities are essential to ensure consistent and high-standard clinical education. UHS will formally communicate this directive to the Allied Health Council.
