LAHORE – The Government of Punjab, under the Chief Minister’s Wheat Support Program, has successfully transferred financial assistance to eligible “Kisan Card” holders across the province.
However, officials have revealed that many beneficiaries have not yet withdrawn their allotted funds.
According to the Agriculture Department, these funds are meant to support farmers in managing their agricultural needs, particularly in the face of rising input costs.
Farmers who have received this financial assistance are strongly urged to withdraw the amount by July 7, 2025.
After the deadline, any unclaimed funds will be automatically returned to the government treasury.

Punjab Kisan Card
The Kisan Card initiative is a government-backed program designed to support farmers by providing easy access to financial aid, subsidies, and agricultural resources. Launched to promote modern farming and reduce economic burdens, the card links farmers to various schemes, including crop insurance, fertilizer subsidies, and direct cash transfers.
It aims to ensure transparency, efficiency, and timely assistance in rural areas. Farmers can use the Kisan Card at authorized outlets and banks for transactions related to agricultural needs.
This initiative empowers small landholders, boosts productivity, and strengthens the agricultural sector across regions where it is implemented.
