Ahead of launch of PAKSAT MM1, Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (Suparco) announced that Pakistan’s advanced communication satellite will provide communication services in multiple bands and play a crucial role in country’s digital development.
The government members including Prime Minieter celebrated launch, highlighting its potential to enhance internet connectivity, economic activities, e-commerce, and e-governance in Pakistan.
Earlier this month, Pakistan first lunar mission, ICUBE-Q was launched on May 3 from China’s Chang’E6. The satellite, developed by the Institute of Space Technology (IST) and China’s Shanghai University SJTU with Suparco, successfully transmitted its first images from lunar orbit, marking a significant milestone in Pakistan’s space efforts.
