The Young Parliamentarians Forum (YPF), led by President Syeda Nosheen Iftikhar, visited the Sindh Assembly to discuss youth empowerment, the challenges facing the nation, and the establishment of a platform for young parliamentarians.
Upon arrival, the delegation was warmly received by Speaker of the Sindh Assembly, Syed Awais Qadir Shah.
During the visit, the members of the YPF engaged in a meeting with Speaker Awais Qadir Shah, where issues impacting the youth, including their welfare and solutions to current challenges, were discussed. The meeting also focused on the formation of a Young Parliamentarians Forum within the Sindh Assembly to empower young lawmakers and enhance their involvement in social and legal matters.
Syeda Nosheen Iftikhar expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome and highlighted that the formation of the YPF was aimed at addressing issues like fake news, polarization, and youth concerns across the country.
The forum is committed to creating a collaborative agenda to work together with members from various provinces to address these challenges effectively. The YPF delegation visited the old Sindh Assembly building, where they were briefed on its historical significance.
