The police on Wednesday arrested a youth who had killed his mother for honour and attempted to pronounce the murder result of resistance during robbery.
SP Cantt Issa Sukhera said that accused Hassan 18, hailing from Batapur area of Lahore was suspicious about character of his mother Farzana Bibi 45. The youth stabbed his mother to death with sharp edged weapon and declared the incident outcome of resistance during robbery.
However, the police over suspicion arrested son of the deceased who during investigation admitted the crime.
The police registered a case against the accused and started an investigation.
